Hey guys,

I made quite a long break from GW, about 4 years, so i'm still kind of getting the grip of things..

I used to 55 monk alot back in the day, to farm and stuff. Now pretty much everywhere i try, its nearly impossible to farm as 55monk.

I was wondering.. are there still any good solo farming spots for 55monk farm ?

The only places i could do it so far was in Gates of Kryta HM, Beacon Perch HM (skeletons) and Raptors near Rata Sum HM.

GoK was kind of profitable during the anniversary holiday, as they would drop tons of birthday cakes and pies, but now they dont really drop anything.. BP is kind of boring as there are little groups of skeletons, and the raptors aside from some (little) asura faction dont seem to drop anything worth the trouble..

55 monk has generally been phased out because of better and more efficient farms. See PvXwiki for example farming builds.

55monk still works great in HM outside bergan hot springs. go out and left towards cursed lands, kill all skellies on the way over and then vanquish cursed lands, probably the best area left tbh.

Yeah, i meant Bergan Hot Springs, not Beacon Perch.

Is cursed lands vanquishable with only the regular 55monk build solo ?

Some places still exist - infact 2 that are not widely known are - fahranur explorable and leave from err bad memory time joknur diggings and you fight a few skale and hit the undead , the other is a quest you get from healer zenwa in issnur isles , it has 3 diff versions but it maps you directly to the sw corner , wall hug the right wall to avoid activating the npc and the foes there are all undead.

defend north kryta province to farm titans for magmas shields & armors, only doable in NM tho.

Err i can farm that in hm as 55 necro - only need to watch for water titans who cast chaos storm ( i think its that ) and you can time it to move out of the way.

ty for reminding me - has been almost 6 months since i was there last - i think the necro titans and ranger titans can be avoided but the others can be farmed.
You can probably come on a run and see for yourself when im back in the game fully - atm im held up with the gwbbcode revival project
